Overview
Tileform is designed to stay lightweight. The website does not require an account to browse, read the guide, or download the app. The desktop app can be used in demo mode without creating an account.
Website And Hosting
The Tileform website is a static site. Hosting providers and infrastructure services may create routine server logs when pages, images, scripts, or downloads are requested. Those logs may include information such as IP address, browser details, request time, and requested URL.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Tileform receives the information needed to fulfill a purchase and provide support, such as checkout session ID, payment status, purchase amount, currency, and the email address used at checkout. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Tileform.
License Emails
License delivery uses Resend. The email address associated with the order is used to send activation codes, download links, and purchase-related support messages from licenses@tileform.xyz.
License Activation
When a license is activated, Tileform sends the activation code and a device code to the license service. The device code is used to issue a license file for that device and enforce the license activation limit. Tileform stores the resulting license file locally so the app can remain activated offline.
Product Updates
Product update emails are optional and are handled through EmailOctopus. If you choose to receive Tileform updates during checkout or through a future signup form, your email address and subscription tags may be stored in EmailOctopus. Product update emails will include a way to unsubscribe.
Desktop App
Tileform project files and editor work are stored locally on your computer unless you choose to move or share them. The app may check for updates and may contact the license service when activating a license. Demo mode and normal editing do not require an account.
Downloads
Tileform installers are distributed through GitHub release assets linked from this website. GitHub may process download requests according to its own policies.
Data Retention
Purchase and license records are kept as long as needed to provide license support, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and maintain transaction history. Product update subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for removal.
Your Choices
You can use Tileform in demo mode without activating a license. You can unsubscribe from product update emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. For privacy questions or removal requests, contact hello@tileform.xyz.
